Project Title: educate not segregate : stop homophobia in schools

Project Summary:
Bullying in our schools is something the Gay Surrey Team feel passionate about.  Bullying comes in all shapes and sizes - from teachers or children bullying a child simply because they may be gay, or perhaps where a child may themselves have LGBT parents.

The scenarios are unfortunately many, and we have heard countless reports from adults who have suffered as children basically because of inadequate school management.

Our Educate not Segregate Project , as part of the Stop Hate Campaign, is to drive a working relationship with Surrey schools to alleviate unnecessary ignorance and put bullying of this nature to the history files.
